After listening to your feedback from last years show, we decided
to make some major overhauls to how we run these events that
are so important to you. As many of you know, Keisha took over
the department last year, ran it for one year, and then we got
together and discussed how to make it the very best this year!
We think that you are going to like what we have come up with!
The Original Friday Midnight Madness FREE Market
This year at Pacificon, we are offering our Flea Market tables for
FREE! That's right...no charge. And this is how we'll do it.
First priority will be given to GMs. GM's have until July 15 to
request a FREE Market table for either Friday or Saturday night.
Beginning July 20, we will accept requests from pre-registered
attendees until we run out of spaces. We will have space for
about 50 FREE Market sellers. Please read below for more details
about the FREE Market!
We are expanding the space for the FREE Market so that people
can comfortably move around the market. Start time will be
9:30pm and it will run until Midnight.
Saturday Night Special Late Night FREE Market
If you are at the show for only one day, then you can still get in
just about a full day of gaming, and cap it off with a trip to the
Saturday night FREE Market! Remember, there are more people
at the show on Saturday than any other day, so this is an
excellent opportunity for buyers and sellers alike!
FREE Market Details
FREE Market Start Time - Friday at 9:30pm, Saturday at 11:00pm .
Limit of one table per person for the weekend.
You must be a registered Weekend attendee of this year's Pacificon Game
Expo to sell at the FREE Market. Buyers may have either Weekend or
OneDay badges. Exhibitors are not allowed to sell in the FREE Market with
their exhibitor badge. The FREE Market is a consumer driven market.
Buyers will not be allowed to bring backpacks of any kind, or any kind of
bag, sack, etc., into the FREE Market area. Please leave these in your car
or your hotel room. We will not hold your items at the door for you, you will
simply not be allowed into the FREE Market. This is both a safety and
security issue.
The selling of any appreciable quantity of current products (either in or out of
shrink wrap, freight-damaged, etc.) will not be allowed.
The sale of new currently available products from manufacturers present at
this show is not allowed!
The FREE Market table/space remains the property of Pacificon Game Expo,
and is not transferable for use by another person. If you cannot use it, or do
not show up at FREE Market check-in time, your space will be given to
someone else. The FREE Market space can only be 'manned' by the person
qualifying for the space. No helpers allowed.
There is to be absolutely no buying, selling, setting aside of merchandise in
the FREE Market hall before the general public is admitted to the hall.
Please exercise good taste in the items you offer. The convention reserves
the right not to issue a FREE Market table.
All decisions of the convention are final!
Individuals judged in violation of these policies may be expelled from the
convention for the remainder of the event.

Pacificon "No Charge" Live Auction
The auction will take place on Saturday, the busiest day of the
convention when there will be the most buyers and sellers
present. The auction will begin at 7pm on Saturday.
Lot tags will be available during regular convention registration
hours until 5pm on Saturday. Lots may be submitted beginning at
Noon on Saturday to the registration desk. At 6:30pm, we will
allow people to tour (not touch) the items up for bid. The auction
will begin at 7pm sharp. Marcelo Figueroa is our auctioneer for
the second year running.
There will be no percentage taken from the seller for lots that are
sold at the auction. Nothing what so ever. (The seller will have the
option to opt in to have ten percent of the selling price go to the
show charity...to be announced later.)
If a buyer wishes to make his purchase by credit card, there is a
five percent surcharge above the selling price.
Each badged attendee may place one lot into the auction for free,
up to the limit established by the auction team.
(This is a first come, first served offer. Once the lot limit is
reached then no more lots will be allowed to be submitted. You
cannot give your free lot to someone else to use. It is not
transferable in any way. We will enforce the spirit of the rule here.)
You may purchase additional lot tags if you wish to submit more
than one lot to the auction. These will cost $1 per lot, after the
first lot.
Purchases must be made immediately after the announcement of
each winning bid, and you must take your purchased goods with
you. (This is a change from last year when people all paid at the
end of the auction. People will pay as they go.)
Payouts to buyers will be available at the registration desk no
more than two hours after the auction ends. Also, unsold lots will
be taken to registration, and be available for pickup immediately
following the auction or later during regular registration hours.
Any lots not picked up by Monday at 3pm become the property of
Pacificon Game Expo. Any sellers who do not pickup their monies
by Monday at 3pm will have those monies donated to the
announced convention charity.

Sunday Pacificon Bazaar
A different style of Flea Market which is ongoing throughout the
day.
Tables will be available for folks to rent in one block intervals.
(See the chart to the right for the available blocks.)
The price for a single table for a single time block is $5 onsite only
please.
Bazaar Details
You must be a registered attendee of this year's Pacificon Game Expo to buy
or sell at the Bazaar.
The selling of any appreciable quantity of current products (either in or out of
shrink wrap, freight-damaged, etc.) will not be allowed.
The sale of new currently available products from manufacturers present at
this show is not allowed!
Please exercise good taste in the items you offer. The convention reserves
the right not to rent a Sunday Bazaar table.
